Abstract Submission Guidelines

 

Abstracts must be submitted via an email icoehs@gmail.com attachment and in a Word document (.doc) only.

Once your abstract is received, you will receive a confirmation email. The email subject line should read: ICEHS Conference 2010 Abstract, your name. Paper and poster abstracts must follow the guidelines below for publication. Conference organizers reserve the right to make minor formatting changes to ensure consistency.

Abstract Format Guidelines


  • Prepare Abstracts according to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th ed.). (The text must be double-spaced and left-justified. Use 12-point Time News Roman font, page size: 8.5 x 11in (21.6 x 28cm) with 1 inch (2.5cm) margins on all sides.) 
  • Abstract narrative is limited to 150-500 words; no graphics.
  • Below the abstract narrative please do the following:
    • Type the name, title, institutional affiliation, complete mailing address, telephone and email for EVERY author listed. Indicate the presenting author.
    • Please list 3 to 5 keywords.
    • Please mark your presentation mode: oral or poster presentation.
    • Indicate if you are a student presenter.
  • Save the abstract as LastFirst.doc or LastFirst.rtf, where Last is your last name and First is your first name. For example, if your name is John Smith then name the abstract file SmithJohn.doc 
Abstracts accepted for presentation at the conference will be included in the Conference Program CD-ROM, which will be given to conference participants. All presenters must register for the meeting and pay the appropriate registration fees. The language of the oral presentations, posters, and written abstracts is either English or Korean with your choice. Mark your presentation language preference on your Registration form.

Abstract Review Procedures

All proposals will be reviewed by the Review Board. Individual proposals are reviewed blind (without author identification). The authors will be notified of the status of the proposal by June 30th, 2010. Upon notification of abstract acceptance, authors must register for the conference.
